Here are a few handy tips that will allow you to keep up with the evolving jewellery trends without overspending or overstuffing your jewellery box.
 


Set up a budget

Arguably one of the most difficult things to do, but setting up a jewellery budget is the first step to successfully be in trend with the latest in jewellery fashion without overspending on similar items that you probably won’t end up wearing. Depending on your monthly income, set up a jewellery budget for yourself. While setting up the figure won’t be a task, sticking to it will most likely be. One way to ensure that you do stick to it would be that you never enter a jewellery store with more money than your budget allows you. A tight budget will most likely guarantee that you only spend on pieces of jewellery that you really want and are likely to wear for a long time.




Set up a shopping schedule
 
As tempting as it may be to visit your favourite jewellery store, we recommend that you set up a shopping schedule. Any new jewellery trend that hits the market is likely to last at least a couple of months - so you should be good to go for at least 2 months before any of your ornaments go out of style. Set up your schedule as far apart as you can, and remember to keep bonus days for festivals and holiday shopping.

Look out for exchange offers at stores and maybe you might be able to swap your old stuff for new.
